Code of Conduct

Heidelberg campus is situated next to other businesses. There are prospective employers within this centre. Students are asked to remember this at all times and to act in a professional manner.

Any student who doesn’t conduct themselves in a “Respectful and Professional” manner at all times, will be referred to the CEO, who will have the discretion to ask student to leave the course.

Friends and Family

As KAL Multimedia Training is a secure access building, Friends are welcome, only under the authority of the director or Training Manager, and then must be signed in & out with Photo ID to be displayed.

Dress Code

It is asked that students come dressed in either neat casual or corporate wear.
SBNA Students will be issued with a KAL Polo Shirt which can be worn with blue jeans or black pants. For safety reasons, footwear such as thongs are not acceptable, unless for medical reasons.

Mobile Phones and Pager

Please turn mobile phone OFF or silent during class times.

CD Players & Music

During Formal Class tutorials- listening to CD’s and music is prohibited. Students, who require a print to audio translation programs, are accepted.  Music is allowed during private study sessions, only if the volume is low and it doesn’t disturb any other students or staff members.

Participation

If you are studying on line/ class or distance learning or mixed mode , you are required by KAL Multimedia Training to keep in contact with the trainer via email once a week reporting what you have done for your course. You are also required to complete at least 1 assignment or module per month. If this is not performed then KAL Multimedia training will inform center link or your job network or the Governmental education board (Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations) www.deewr.gov.au or Department of Employment and Workplace Relations www.dewr.gov.au of you non participation.

All students results when enrolling is marked as non competent and will be report the Governmental regulatory bodies as described above. If unsatisfactory participation has been found then funding of course or benefits might be enforced by regulatory body’s. KAL Multimedia training do not control these repayments of benefits or funding we only provide the training, so non participation can jeopardize these payments.
