The child care qualification covers workers who are responsible for day-to-day running of a child care center or a before and after school care and/or vacation care service, including planning, implementing and managing programs which address licensing, accreditation and duty of care requirements.
It also covers workers in children’s services who are responsible for planning, implementing and managing programs in early childhood services, in accordance with licensing, accreditation and duty of care requirements.
Even workers who may operate at an advanced level in early childhood education and care to:
• Provide specialist services
• Act as a resource for other workers
• Provide practice supervision of staff including volunteers
• Work intensively with clients
• Work with clients with complex needs. |

The KAL Multimedia Training business qualification reflects the role of individuals who use well developed administrative skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of administrative contexts. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others. |

This qualification reflects the roles of individuals delivering training and assessment services in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
The TAA50104 Diploma of Training and Assessment specifies the competencies required to engage in advanced training and assessment practice which may also include competence in one or more of the following areas: development of training products, provision of training advisory and consultancy services and leadership and co-ordination of training and assessment services. |

KAL Multimedia IT course provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in introductory ICT ‘technical’ functions and is designed to support information activities in the workplace and to achieve a degree of self‑sufficiency as an advanced ICT ‘user’. It will give employers a degree of confidence in an individual’s usefulness in the workplace as it has a strong suite of common core ICT units building on the prerequisite knowledge and skills from the various IT Courses. |
