Course Description

This qualification reflects the role of a skilled operator in the film, television, radio or digital media industries who applies a broad range of competencies in a varied work context, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a team.

Qualification rules

Total number of units = 11
3 core units plus 8 electivies selected from the following list.

6 elective units must be selected from the list below. The other 2 elective units may be selected from the remaining elective units listed, the CUF07 Screen and Media Training Package or any other currently endorsed national Training Package. Units selected must be recommended for packaging at Certificate III level.
Electives must be relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and the qualification level.
